Requirements

Any waiver of a license shall be made in writing.
Any revocation of a license shall be subject to the conditions laid out in section "Detailed information".

More information

The holder of the license may waive the license. The waiver shall be notified to the State Government by written notice.

The license shall expire if the license of the license holder is terminated or suspended or the authorization as hiking guide ends.
But in the event of the death of the holder of the license, it may be continued for two years, provided that a substitute will be nominated within two months.

The State Government shall withdraw a license through the issue of an administrative notice, if

  1. the operation of the mountain school has not been started for more than one year or has been discontinued for more than two years, or
  2. on several occasions, deficiencies in the operation of the school have been identified, that may endanger the personal safety or significantly prejudice or endanger tourism.

In the event that a license has been granted jointly to several persons and not each of these persons wishes to waive the license, or the license as a mountain guide has not been terminated or suspended for each of these persons, the license will then be transferred to the remaining license holders.
